Description

Sighte Addons

Client-side Fabric mod for Hypixel SkyBlock Catacombs that answers a question Hypixel does not: who in the party actually cleared which rooms.

Hypixel only exposes party totals — secrets, deaths, cleared % — never per-player values, except on the end-of-run Extra Stats screen. The dungeon item map, however, shows every party member's position (even outside render distance) and every room's clear checkmark. Sampling both every tick gives full per-player attribution with no party sync and nothing to install for your teammates.

What you get

  • Live HUD — current room, how long you have been in it, when it cleared, the secret run, and the party standings.
  • Per-room secret tracking — how many secrets a room has, how many are done, and how many of them were provably yours.
  • Secret-run stopwatch — starts on a room's first secret (chest, lever, wither essence, item pickup), stops on its last one.
  • A room history you can actually read — /sa pbs. One row per room with both records side by side: time in the room until it cleared, and the secret run. Type chips filter, every column sorts, and typing anywhere searches the room names — there is no input box. Click a room for its detail: the progression of its clear times as one bar per attempt, personal bests in gold, plus your best time per floor and the shape, secret and crypt counts from the room database.
  • Chat summaries — a per-room line as it clears and a run summary at the end.
Sighte F7 3:12.5 23 rooms
Water Board 0:41.2
  cleared 02:58.6
  secrets 0:08.6 4/6 (2 you)
8.50 Nordwand
6.00 Tanksalot

Records come out of config/sighteaddons/history.jsonl, which is append-only and written per line as you play. Silencing the chat announcements never costs you a record.

Settings

/sa opens the settings screen, /sa pbs jumps straight to the history. Four tabs — hud, chat, history, debug — click a row to toggle it; every change is written immediately, so there is no save button to forget. position · place puts the HUD wherever you next click.

The screen is drawn from rectangles and font calls only — no widget library and no config-screen dependency, which is why the mod ships with nothing but Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin.

Requirements

Data and privacy

This mod uploads by default. When a dungeon run ends — finished or left early — a report of it is sent over HTTPS to the mod's analysis server: rooms, times, party size and the classes present, filed under a random id generated on your machine. Your Minecraft name and UUID are not part of it, and nobody else's ever is. Switch it off in /sa → debug → upload run reports. The mod says this once in chat the first time it runs.

Those reports are what room difficulty is derived from — how long each room takes to clear and how long its secrets take, averaged per room across many runs, which is something no single player's history can tell you. A run you walk out of counts too: the rooms you did clear are just as real, and the report says it was left early rather than pretending otherwise.

Your upload id is shown in /sa → debug. It is random, generated once, and stored in config.json. Nothing on the server can turn it back into a player — until you decide otherwise:

Sending your name is off unless you switch it on. /sa → debug → send my name adds your own Minecraft name to your reports, because a leaderboard needs a label and that label is yours to give. The row shows the name itself rather than the word "on", so what would leave your machine is legible before the click. Switching it back off stops naming new reports and leaves your history intact.

Teammates are never named, in either direction. A run report contains party size, classes and per-room time totals — never a name, not even pseudonymously. The four strangers from party finder cannot consent through somebody else's settings screen, so they are not in there at all.

The local diagnostic log in config/sighteaddons/debug/ is a separate thing: a JSONL event log for debugging a real run, switchable in the DEBUG tab. Everyone in it — teammates and you — appears as a pseudonym like p-3f8a1c04, derived from a random salt generated fresh every launch and never written down, so it is stable within a session and different in the next one. It is never uploaded by an ordinary install: sessions only leave the machine if a config/sighteaddons/upload.properties file with a server URL and a shared secret exists, and the mod never writes that file.

Room detection uses the room database and the core-hash algorithm from Odin (BSD-3-Clause). Both licenses ship inside the jar.
