1.20.1 version out now!
No BotanicAdditions compat for now

Description:

SilentCompat is a forge mod currently available for version 1.19.2 that adds compatibility for mods such as Botania, TwilightForest, Alexsmobs and more!

The intention of this mod is to provide an easy way to have compatibility between modded materials and SilentGear. This was achieved with the data driven material system that SilentGear provides, all of the materials are JSON files that can be edited! Many of the traits attempt to recreate the material's original abilities as to try to stay true to the mod's implementation. For example, Twilight Forest materials have traits that mimic the abilities of the mod's tools and gear, like fire react. Some of these traits utilize SilentGear's existing trait types while others are new.

SilentCompat also adds it's own materials that can be mined in the world, or alloyed.

Rather than spending hours creating a datapack from scratch, one can simply install this mod!

*Requires SilentGear and SilentLib.

New Materials:

The following is a brief summary of the new materials that can be found in the world or crafted!

*These materials have more traits, only notable traits are listed.

New Traits:

Here is a list of some of the traits provided by SilentCompat:

*Note that some traits will function only when the required mod is loaded.

  • Amplifying: Chance to gain the amplified effect on kill, granting a large speed boost!
  • Jolt Hit: Consumes amplified, deal extra damage and chaining damage to a nearby mob.
  • Blinding: Consumes amplified, launching a projectile that deals damage, blinds, and slows the target.
  • Devouring: Chance to gain devouring effect on kill, granting absorption hearts on kill and refreshing the effect duration.
  • Volatile: Consumes devouring, placing the volatile effect on the target, causing them to explode every time they are hit.
  • Umbral Blast: Consumes devouring, launching a projectile that deals damage and knocks away the target.
  • Restoration: Chance to gain the restoration effect on kill, granting a slower but stronger regen effect.
  • Scorching: Consumes restoration, applying the scorch effect on the target, causing them to burn and explode when the effect runs out. The explosion spreads scorch to hit mobs.
  • Sun Spot: Consumes restoration, healing a chunk of health and granting strength when stepping on fire.
  • Dodging: Chance to avoid damage
  • Nocturnal: At night, slowly repairs gear and deals more damage.
  • Diurnal: Opposite of nocturnal
