Description

Silver Samurai: Battle-Damaged Red Blade

A large, two-phase boss for Minecraft Java 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0 or newer, and Java 17. Install on both client and server.

Features

  • Dual-sword armored first phase and a battle-damaged second phase wielding one blade with both hands.
  • Custom combat, drawing, sheathing, transition, climbing, jumping and death animations.
  • Red-blade attacks and configurable combat, targeting and terrain interaction.
  • Standalone gameplay. Wolverine: Claws & Healing is an optional integration, not a required dependency.

Summoning

Use /summon silver_samurai:silver_samurai ~ ~ ~. This Beta is command-summoned only. Natural structures, activation devices, survival summoning recipes and dedicated boss loot are not included.

Installation and settings

Put one Silver Samurai JAR in the mods folder, remove previous versions, and restart. World-specific settings are stored in serverconfig/silver-samurai-server.toml. Some attacks can break blocks when configured; use a test world or backup when trying the boss.

Current Beta

r60 improves landing compression and arm spacing. The final jump suite passed 18 tests after correcting a hand-grip interpolation issue. Arbitrary modpack compatibility and multiplayer visual behavior are not guaranteed.
