Description

Description

SimpleAFK is a lightweight plugin that automatically detects when players are inactive and marks them as AFK. After a configurable amount of idle time , the plugin announces in light gray chat that the player is AFK and adds [AFK] to their name in the TabList. Players are automatically removed from AFK status when they move or press movement keys (W, A, S, D, or Space). Additionally, players can toggle AFK status manually at any time with the /afk command.

This plugin is useful for survival or multiplayer servers that want to clearly indicate who is active and who’s away, keeping gameplay and communication more organized. Server admins can configure the aspects of the plugin easily in config.yml, making it flexible for different server styles.

There are no external dependencies. Just drop the plugin into your plugins folder, start your server, and the default config will generate. Java 17 or higher is required.
