Take to the skies with the Balloons Mod!
This mod introduces colorful, physics-based balloons that let you and any creature in Minecraft gently float away. Say goodbye to fall damage and hello to serene, lighter-than-air travel.

• Float Away!
  Right-click with a balloon in hand to spawn one and attach it to yourself. The more balloons you hold, the more lift you get.

• Universal Leashing
  Attach balloons to any mob in the game, from the humblest chicken to the mighty Ender Dragon. Simply have balloons attached to yourself and right-click a mob to transfer them.

• Vast Advancement System
  Discover and complete over 70 unique advancements in a dedicated Balloons advancement tab. Can you attach a balloon to every mob in the game?

• Gentle Descent
  Holding balloons negates fall damage, allowing you to leap from the highest mountains without fear.

• Tie Them Down
  Secure your balloons by right-clicking on any fence post. They will bob gently in the wind, adding a touch of color to your builds.

• Realistic Physics
  Balloons sway, bob, and push each other dynamically for a visually pleasing effect.

• Pop!
  Balloons will pop if attacked or if you float too high into the atmosphere.

• Fully Configurable
  Adjust lift strength, gravity effects, and more via the in-game config menu.

1. Craft Balloons

   • Recipe: 1 Lead + 1 Wool (any color) → 8 Balloons

2. Attach to Yourself

   • Hold a balloon and right-click in the air.
   • Each balloon reduces gravity. More balloons = more lift.

3. Attach to Mobs

   • With balloons attached to yourself, right-click on any mob (passive, hostile, or bosses) to transfer them.
   • Unlock unique advancements this way.

4. Descend Safely

   • Hold Crouch (Left Shift by default) to increase gravity temporarily and descend in a controlled way.

5. Tie to a Fence

   • Right-click a fence to secure balloons as decorations.

The mod features a dedicated Balloons advancement tab with over 70 challenges:

• Peaceful Flyers – Passive mobs.
• Temperamental Travelers – Neutral mobs.
• Airborne Adversaries – Hostile mobs.
• High-Stakes Hijinks – Special challenges (e.g. attaching a balloon to a Warden).

Customize balloon physics in Mods → Balloons → Config:

• Unleashed Float Speed – Rise speed of free balloons.
• Leashed Vertical/Horizontal Pull – Pull strength toward anchor point.
• Bobbing & Jitter Strength – Natural sway and motion.
• Drag – Air resistance.
• Collision Repulsion & Push Multiplier – Interaction with entities.

• Lift Strength Per Balloon – Gravity reduction per balloon.
• Crouching Gravity – Extra downward force while crouching.
• Minimum & Maximum Gravity – Hard limits for lift and descent.

This mod requires NeoForge 1.21.5+.

1. Install the recommended version of NeoForge.
2. Download the Balloons mod .jar.
3. Place the file in your mods/ folder.
4. Launch the game and enjoy your flight.
