Simple Fullbright Mod for Minecraft 1.16.1

A simple Fabric mod that allows you to toggle fullbright mode on and off with a configurable hotkey for speedrunning.

Features

  • Toggle fullbright mode with a hotkey (default: G key)
  • Configurable keybinding in the controls menu
  • Preserves original gamma settings
  • Works reliably in-game
  • Client-side only mod

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.16.1
  2. Install Fabric API
  3. Place the compiled mod JAR in your mods folder
  4. Launch the game

Usage

  • Press the G key (or your configured key) to toggle fullbright mode
  • The keybinding can be changed in Options > Controls > Speedrun Fullbright
  • When fullbright is enabled, your gamma is set to a very high value (1000.0)
  • When disabled, your original gamma setting is restored
