Simple Shields - Fabric

Simple Shields adds 4 (and a half) custom shields to the game providing shields for other materials as iron.

All shields function exactly like the vanilla shield in minecraft except for the banner customization which isn't available.

Entchantments are available aswell!

The durability is lower or higher than the vanilla counterpart based on the used materials.

Wood Shield - an early game alternative based on Planks -

with the following recipe -

It can be repaired at an anvil with planks of any sort.

Stone Shield - the stone equivalent of the standard iron shield -

with the following recipe -

It can be repaired with Cobbelstone, Deepslate and Cobbel Deepslate

Diamond Shield - a better version of the vanilla shield -

with the following recipe -

It can be repaired with diamonds at an anvil.

At last a special version of the diamondshield called blood diamond shield-

with the following recipe - 

It can be repaired at an anvil with diamonds.

From Version 1.10 (for MC 1.19.2) onwards a new Netherite Shield is included with the following recipe -
