About

Description

This mod adds THREE new zombie types- the "Tough Zombie", "Brute Zombie", and "Plague Zombie", which spawn alongside vanilla mobs! -Tough Zombies share their AI with vanilla zombies, but wield wooden axes and have higher health. They also drop slightly more EXP and a new variant of rotten flesh, Tough Rotten Flesh! -Brute Zombies are like Tough zombies, but slower and unarmed, with a higher health pool! They gain one second of Strength after being hit, so time your hits well, or you might find yourself easily overwhelmed! They drop increased EXP and occasional iron or gold ingots! -Plague Zombies are weaker than the other variants, but shoot slimeballs at the player that deal damage and inflict poison for 1 second! Direct damage from the slimeballs can be blocked, but the poison effect applies through shields, so prioritize Plague Zombies when fighting a group, or you might get taken down by their chip damage. They're able to fire a slimeball approximately every five seconds. They also have a slime particle effect to help them stand out in dark or crowded environments! Tough Rotten Flesh trades the hunger effect of normal rotten flesh with Strength I and Nausea for 30 seconds! They also get buffed by lightning, if they happen to survive the strike! Tough, Plague, and Brute zombies share a texture with vanilla zombies, only palette swapped, so they match vanilla mobs visually- this mod fits seamlessly into vanilla gameplay by itself. Each zombie can be differentiated based off their color scheme and sound effects! Feel free to use in modpacks! -Forge only! Zero required dependencies! Feedback is appreciated in the comments! Updates can be provided at reasonable request. Created using MCreator 2022.1 for 1.16.5 I do NOT own the textures included; they are simply recolored vanilla "programmer art" sprites, which are owned by Microsoft.
