Description
Simply Redstone Systems
Simply Redstone Systems (SRS) is a redstone/automation/utility mod (currently in experimental/beta phase) that adds digital logic based blocks, items and utilities into the game, helping you create more compact, efficient and tight redstone systems!
NOTE: GeckoLib and Patchouli [Forge] are required dependencies for this mod to work. Please also install them while installing Simply Redstone Systems.

Simply Redstone Systems v0.2.0b Is Here!
It's been a little over 2 months since our first beta release, Simply Redstone Systems v0.1.0b. We've been working on new features since, with many, MANY more planned for future versions, but for now we're finally here for the next installment in the series; v0.2.0b!
Here's what's new:
- Flip-Flops (JK, T, and D)- 3 different types of flip-flops for varying redstone circuitries. Usage information is provided in the in-game manual
- Redstone Arithmetic Unit- A simple yet efficient block that performs basic arithmetic operations i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of redstone signal values with configurable input sides.
- Redstone Wrench [WIP]- Configuration tool for blocks, items and such. Currently a work in progress, but presently works for changing modes of the Redstone Arithmetic Unit.
- Redstone Valve- Adjustable power level emitter. Can emit any redstone signal level between 0 and 15, right-click to increase and shift-right-click to decrease.
- Piezo-Redstone- Currently only a crafting material; a special redstone-gold-quartz alloy that, in theory, has the ability to detect physical interactions with redstone. Used to craft redstone-emitting tools and armor. Also,a complementary storage block craftable using 9 Piezo-Redstone Ingots, safe for decorative usages!
- Activator Series Tools & Armor [WIP]- Tools and armor made of Piezo-Redstone ingots that respond to certain physical stimuli (each tool/armor piece with its own criterion) to emit a redstone signal at the position of the stimulus. These items are a major work in progress; implementation is not complete, and bugs are to be expected.
This feature is planned to be expanded upon vastly, such as giving the player the ability to make other mobs wield it, and to customize the emitted signal's power level, range, position, delay and other such features to help make dynamic redstone contraptions possible at the snap of a finger!
Other Quality of Life and miscellaneous features:
- All Logic Gate models have undergone a major update in order to match the model style of other blocks added by Simply Redstone Systems.
- The Redstone Clock GUI now has a toggle button to set whether it needs a redstone input to be turned on or not. By default, it is set to 'does not need a redstone input' (denoted by the button being green) and can be toggled to 'needs redstone input' (denoted by the button being red).
- Logic Core: Latch, and Arithmetic Core items added as intermediate crafting ingredients for Flip-Flops and the Redstone Arithmetic Unit.
- Stone Rod item added as a crafting ingredient. This item is also registered with Forge's tags and therefore can be used as a crafting ingredient in other mods that have a stone rod item as a crafting ingredient.
- Actuator Rod item as an intermediate crafting ingredient for many items, such as the Redstone Valve and all items in the Activator Tools & Armor series. In theory, this item behaves as the response unit for Piezo-Redstone.
- SRS: Logic Guidebook has been updated with the latest features, and descriptions and crafting recipes for them.
- Some minor bug fixes regarding block functionalities, and other minor changes regarding item and block models, blockstates, and textures.
Along with the base features from version v0.1.0b: - A comprehensive guidebook that teaches you the know-hows and basics!
- All 7 Logic Gates- NOT, AND, OR, XOR, NAND, NOR, XNOR (2-side input and 3-side input variants)
- Redstone Clock- A customizable and toggleable pulse generator with a GUI that lets you set the pulses-per-tick and delay-after-pulse
- Redstone Crossbridge- Allows 2 different redstone wires to cross over the same block without intermixing of the signals or making a mess
Some other planned potential features:
- Multiplexer & Demultiplexer
- Encoder & Decoder
- Shift Register
- Segmented Display
- Redstone Cables for better transmission of redstone signals
- Redstone Bytestream Cables for transmission of multiple redstone signals across the same cable in the form of a bytestream
- A block that converts multiple redstone signals into one bytestream signal and vice-versa.
- "Activation Augmenter"; a block that allows full customization of Activator Tools & Armor Series (and potentially other similar items in the future!)
And much more planned for the future. Stay tuned!
