About

Description

This is Splidgesplodge's Tweaked Recipes, a mod that aims to change vanilla crafting for the better.

This mod adds many recipes to the game to make crafting certain blocks/items easier and more rewarding to craft.

Added Recipes

  • Rotten Flesh can be put on a Campfire to create Leather.
  • Leather can be crafted into 2 Rabbit Hide.
  • Minecarts containing blocks (such as Furnaces, Chests or TNT) can be crafted straight into their variants, rather than crafting a Minecart first.
  • Saddles can be crafted with 3 Leather, 1 String and 1 Iron Nugget.
  • Observers can be crafted with the Quartz to the left.
  • Grass Blocks can be crafted with 1 Dirt (Dirt, Coarse Dirt or Rooted Dirt) and 1 of either Grass, Tall Grass or a Moss Carpet above it.
  • Rooted Dirt can be crafted with 1 Dirt or Coarse Dirt with a Hanging Root below it.
  • Both Red Mushroom and Brown Mushroom Blocks can be crafted with 4 of their respective Mushroom in a square.
  • Saplings can be smelted into Dead Bushes.

Altered Recipes

  • Cobblestone can be replaced by other stone variants in its recipes (Cobbled Deepslate, Infected Cobblestone, Blackstone, Granite, Diorite, Andesite, Calcite, Tuff, Dripstone, End Stone and Netherrack). This applies to Dispensers, Droppers, Furnaces, Observers, Pistons, Levers and Brewing Stands.
  • Beacons now accept any type of Glass and Obsidian.
  • Enchanting Tables now accept any type of Obsidian.
  • Tinted Glass now accepts any type of Glass
  • Tinted Glass now yields 4 instead of 4

Reversed Recipes

  • Red Mushroom and Brown Mushroom Blocks can be crafted down into 4 of their respective Mushroom.
  • Amethyst Blocks can be crafted down into 4 Amethyst Shards.
  • Dripstone Blocks can be crafted down into 4 Pointed Dripstone.
  • Snow Blocks can be crafted down into 4 Snowballs.
  • Clay Blocks can be crafted down into 4 Clay Balls.
  • Any coloured Wool Block can be crafted down into 4 String.
  • Both Warped Wart Blocks and Nether Wart Blocks can be crafted down into 9 Nether Warts.

There are a lot more recipes, as well as configuration options planned in the future.
