About
Description
Skillbound is a progression system for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 that adds eight independent skills to your character:
Attack, Defense, Magic, Mining, Gathering, Farming, Building and Agility.
Gain experience and invest it into the skills you want to develop. Equipment and items can require specific skill levels, creating natural progression throughout a modpack instead of allowing powerful equipment to be used immediately.
Features
- 8 independent skills with configurable progression.
- Default maximum level: 35.
- Hundreds of equipment and item requirements.
- Support for vanilla and modded equipment.
- Mining: increased mining speed and a progressive chance for additional ore drops.
- Gathering: increased experience gains.
- Farming: improved crop growth around the player.
- Building: increased block interaction reach.
- Agility: movement and swimming improvements.
- Magic: increased maximum mana when Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks is installed.
- Server-side validation of equipment requirements.
- Configurable skill bonuses and maximum level.
- Compact RPG-style interface integrated with the inventory.
Skillbound can be used as a standalone progression mod. Additional specialization mechanics are available through BoundClasses.
