Description

SkyBack

SkyBack is a client-side Fabric mod that reverts the changes introduced by Hypixel SkyBlock's resource-pack update, restoring the look and feel of the game from before the update.

SkyBack is unofficial and not affiliated with or endorsed by Hypixel.

Features

  • Keeps your own textures: optionally blocks the server's force-enabled resource pack so your own/vanilla textures stay.
  • Restores vanilla item models: items render as their normal Minecraft item instead of the purple missing-texture model.
  • Paper-item remap: items that were turned into paper are mapped back to their old vanilla item.
  • Old player-head skulls: restores the classic player-head skull rendering.
  • Tooltip fix: removes the broken (black/purple) custom tooltip frame.

Commands & keybind

  • /skyback - open the toggle menu (master on/off + optional resource-pack block).
  • /skyback debug on|off - record id to item mappings for items not yet covered.
  • Keybind "Open SkyBack menu" (bindable in Controls).

  • Minecraft 26.1.2
  • Fabric Loader + Fabric API
  • Client-side only (no server install)
