A Note On Updates

This mods minecraft version should usually be updated in parity with Skyblocker (Modpack), I personally play with that modpack because I have also contributed to its development.

Setup

Once you start your game with the mod for the first time, a new text file will appear in your mods folder. "skyfilter_settings", inside this file, the setting "blockedTermsRegex" is where you may customize the regex with any terms you want.

📖 Short Description

Skyfilter (for Hypixel Skyblock) uses mixins to detect spam/scam messages before they appear in chat, and promptly deletes them.

❓ What does the mod add?

The mod adds a chat filter, and it deletes all messages that hit the trigger before they appear in the chatbox.

❓ Why do I want this?

(Context: This started off as a personal mod, and still is a personal mod.) Hypixels chat filtering system is not sufficent for me, it filters swear words and slurs yeah, but it does not handle spam. This mod adds background code with custom chat filters for Hypixel Skyblock specifically to handle the most common chat spams on that server.
