About
Description
Smooth Operator is a lightweight performance-focused Minecraft mod built for NeoForge 1.21 that targets common gameplay causes of lag without changing the core vanilla feel. Instead of deep engine tweaks, it optimizes everyday mechanics like entity buildup, item clutter, and slow block updates to keep worlds running smoothly—especially during long play sessions or on lower-end systems.
The mod introduces configurable smart optimizations that work quietly in the background. Junk items despawn faster to reduce item lag, mob spawning is limited per chunk to prevent overcrowding, and unsupported leaves decay much faster than vanilla, cutting down on unnecessary random ticks. Every feature can be enabled or tuned through a simple config, so players and servers stay in full control.
Smooth Operator is designed to be plug-and-play, server-friendly, and compatible with most modpacks. Install it, tweak the settings if needed, and enjoy a cleaner, faster Minecraft experience—no gimmicks, just smoother gameplay.
