Snowy Sniffer

Whenever a Sniffer find itself in a snowfall, in cold biomes, their back will turn snowy and white. This is similar to how large mammals can accumulate snow during a winter storm.

And if you do not like it? You can right-click it with a shovel, and it reverts to the original skin, with a couple of snowballs as a drop. Alternatively, heat in various shape and location can melt that snow down (including weather). Pretty useful, especially to keep the babies warm.

It adds environmental interaction with the mob itself, even with such small details. It reflects how impactful bringing this species back from extinction is, and letting it live in this modern world, rain or shine! :)

There are a few more fun features surrounding the Snowy Sniffer's interaction with the world, but I will leave you to find out (screenshots for hints).

Warning: This mod will need to be installed on both client and servers, if you go in multiplayer. Should you use it for client only, the sniffers will only have the snow layer if and as long as they are under a direct snowstorm. Alternatively, you can rename them "Snowy" to make the skin change permanent. c:
