Cycle of the Flayed

Centuries ago, the Nether alchemists sought not gold, but the memory of matter. They believed that every block of stone and every drop of experience contained a fragment of consciousness. Their experiments went awry, creating tools that not only exist, but "starve" reality.

1. The Dream XP (The Sighing Sponge)

The Dream XP is not a storage device; it is a prison. Experience orbs cannot fit inside because the sponge is "filled" with an emptiness too dense. The orbs stagnate around it, trapped by a morbid gravitational pull, like ghosts refusing to enter a tomb too small.

The Dark Secret: It is said that if one listens closely near the block, one can hear the whispers of those to whom this experience once belonged. They are not stored; they are kept in a state of perpetual agony, unable to escape or be used.

2. The Stone Composter (Memory Grinder)

It's not a machine, it's a stomach of stone. It transforms useless rock into compressed nuggets, but these nuggets disappear from the GUI because the machine "eats" its own product to continue functioning.

 the composter attempts to recreate iron (the lifeblood of machines) from stone. The nuggets disappear because they are "claimed" by an invisible dimension. Using this iron for your equipment means carrying the crushed remains of a world that no longer has a name.

3. The Scavenger's Scythe (Reaper's Scythe)

The ultimate tool. Forged with a Nether Star (a pure soul), Netherite (the metal of the dead), and Emerald (the symbol of exchange).

Right-Click (Transmutation): The scythe doesn't magically transform blocks into XP; it "drains" the block's essence, leaving behind only its life essence (XP), which the Dream XP can then capture.

The Bleeding Effect: This is no ordinary blood. The scythe "tears" open the victim's physical form, forcing their essence to flow out even before death.
