Description

Backports most of the Rendering improvements from Sodium 0.8.12 back into 0.5.13 in the way of an external patch.

I'm saying MOST because literally backporting the entirety of Sodium 0.8.12 would just break a ton of mods, including Sodium Options API, so this just backports the rendering improvements whilst leaving Sodium on version 0.5.13 so everything (should) work as is without breaking a ton of mods.

Things that were left out:

The particle fast path, because you should be using AsyncParticles anyway so it wasn't worth the effort, and

0.8.12's rewritten block/material pipeline was also left out which helped with translucent rendering.

This is a patch you install on top of Sodium 0.5.13, you need to install the dependency first:

The patch is based on version 0.8.12 from Minecraft 1.21.1.
