Description
Sodium Leaf Culling — Unofficial 1.20.1 Backport
A community-maintained backport of Sodium Leaf Culling by Txni for Minecraft 1.20.1. It adds configurable leaf rendering modes to the client performance settings for Sodium-compatible renderers.
Leaf modes
- None — use the renderer's normal leaf behavior.
- Hollow — cull leaf faces inside dense foliage.
- Solid — render interior leaves as solid while keeping the outside appearance.
- Solid Aggressive — apply the more aggressive solid-leaf optimization.
The setting is in the renderer's performance options. A renderer reload is required after changing it.
Compatibility
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric Loader 0.15+, Fabric API, Sodium 0.5.11, and Indium 1.0.34.
- Forge: Minecraft Forge 47.3.7 and Embeddium 0.3.31 or newer.
- Client-side only. Install the file matching your loader; do not install both files together.
