This mod has not been worked on for about a year, as other projects have been keeping my attention. If you would like to see more work on this, feel free to join the Discord. Modrinth should really have a comments section honestly...Somatogenesis
Soma, noun: "the body as distinct from the soul, mind, or psyche."
Genesis, noun: "the origin or mode of formation of something."
Somatogenesis is a mod heavily inspired by Blood Magic and Stranger Things. The primary theme revolves around the creation and modification of creatures and the body.
Main Features
- A variety of biological materials, such as flesh, muscle and organs
- A system for connecting various blood-powered blocks via vessels
- The ability to turn your base into one gigantic creature
- All sorts of methods of modifying your body
- The creature.
- A very large progression tree consisting of five different phases
- (almost) Fully customizable creatures, doing your bidding for you
- Accidents...?
It's worth noting that this mod covers a vast aspects of Minecraft, although its development was with PvP in mind. If there are any features you would like to see added, or if something isn't built on enough, do not hesitate to reach out to me and ask. I'm completely open to feedback.
WARNING
This mod is basically themed around blood and gore, so there's bound to be quite a bit of it. Creatures look (somewhat) grotesque, you can literally rip open monsters to steal their organs and the ideal endgame base is one giant creature. There is a config toggle to make things a little easier on the eyes, but there's only so much I can do without making it unplayable. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
