A good, if overpowered, backpack mod

This mod has become the ubiquitous backpack mod on modern versions, for better or worse. I do really like the sorting system and the convenience it provides, however out of the box the balance on this mod is questionable, especially with how cheap backpacks are and the fact the player can carry an unlimited amount. The graphics of this mod are actually really nice, and the UI feels well constructed. There is a good variety of upgrades but the middle tiers are often entirely skipped because by the time you have enough iron to upgrade your backpacks you probably have enough gold and potentially enough diamonds too, the only backpack tier that really takes a while to get is netherite, and that upgrade feels minor in comparison.

Backpacks entirely replace shulker boxes, and to some extent bundles, and I personally feel that outright replacing a vanilla feature isn't a great thing for a mod. In packs where storage systems like AE2 are present, or even just when resources are abundant, backpacks can even supersede chests due to their density and the upgrades they have, which can just make other storage mods feel bad in comparison. This isn't an issue if the mod is tweaked through KubeJS or datapacks however it poses an issue for casual players who don't have the time or knowledge to do this or just want to throw mods together quickly.

All in all, I would recommend this over other backpack mods most of the time, just when making a pack be careful it doesn't entirely overshadow other options.
