Sophisticated Petite Inventory

Sophisticated Petite Inventory brings Petite Inventory’s multi-slot item layouts to Sophisticated Backpacks, with consistent visuals and controls across backpacks and the player inventory.

Features

  • Multi-slot rendering: item icons, backgrounds and colors follow Petite Inventory’s size and rotation rules.
  • Click any occupied cell: interact with an item from any cell it covers, keeping your grab point when placing it.
  • Footprint-aware transfers: drag splitting, Shift-clicking, pickup, magnet, restock, deposit and upgrade outputs respect the space each item needs.
  • Safe sorting: rearranges items by their full footprints, respects no-sort and memory settings, and leaves the inventory unchanged if a complete layout cannot fit.
  • Upgrade layout changes: Tank and Battery installations/removals preserve multi-slot item spacing when storage columns change.
  • Tool swap capacity: prevents a swap from losing the held item when the backpack cannot fit its footprint.
  • Correct scrolling: partially visible items stay visible and clickable, with rendering clipped to the storage area.

Installation

Place this addon and the three required mods in your mods folder. For multiplayer, install the same addon version on both the client and server. Remove older copies of this addon before updating.

Backpack integration is enabled automatically and uses your existing Petite Inventory item rules. Items already overlapping from an older version must be picked up and placed again.
