Soul Items introduces a legendary tier of tools and weapons that cannot be crafted using standard table recipes. Instead of mining, you must venture into the absolute darkest depths of your world to claim them.
This mod adds 4 progressive tiers for the core survival equipment arsenal:
- The Soul Sword – Slay mobs with ease as its damage increases with every kill.
- The Soul Pickaxe – Mine resources at incredible speed.
- The Soul Axe – Fell trees with a single swing.
- The Soul Shovel – Excavate massive craters in seconds.

Unlike traditional gear that stays static until you apply an enchantment, Soul Items are alive. They adapt, grow, and evolve alongside your playstyle:
- Organic Level-Up Mechanics: Your items upgrade dynamically based on your direct actions. Every block you mine or every mob you defeat feeds energy to your tool, raising its level and improving its core attributes.
- Unique Abilities and Powerful Effects: As your tools progress through all four levels, they unlock powerful new effects and unique abilities that transform the way you play.
🔍 How to Find Your First Gear
To keep survival fair and engaging, players can only discover Level 1 Soul Items. Any further progression must be earned through gameplay.
- Exclusive Spawn Location: Level 1 items are consolidated strictly within the Ancient City structure.
- Target Containers: Items spawn exclusively inside the rare Ice Box Chests found near the center corridors.
- Balanced Rarity: Each Ice Box container holds an exact 50% overall chance to drop a custom tool. To preserve game balance, the Soul Sword is significantly rarer than the other Soul tools, making it a true trophy.
