Souls of Avarice: Mod Integration and Resources

This mod is designed to enhance my modpack, Souls of Avarice, by adding items, textures, and custom integrations. Currently, it introduces four unique metals that follow a progressive tier system. These metals are designed for use with the Tetra mod, allowing you to craft specialized tools to mine the next tier of material.

Current Features

Progression-Based Metals

This mod adds four distinct metals, each found in specific biomes and depth ranges. These metals are required to craft progressively stronger tools, starting with Void and culminating in Ether.

  1. Void

    • Location: Found in the Overworld at and below bedrock.
    • Depth Range: -64 -> -60
    • Purpose: Used to craft a Void pickaxe capable of mining Infernium Ore.
  2. Infernium

    • Location: Found in the Nether, often surrounded by netherrack.
    • Depth Range: 1 -> 25
    • Purpose: Used to craft an Infernium pickaxe capable of mining Abyssal Ore.
  3. Abyssal

    • Location: Found in the depths of the Overworld's oceans.
    • Depth Range: -40 -> -10
    • Purpose: Used to craft an Abyssal pickaxe capable of mining Ether Ore.
  4. Ether

    • Location: Found at the bottom of End islands, dangling over the void.
    • Depth Range: 0 -> 20
    • Purpose: Used to craft high-tier tools and other advanced items (modpack)

How It Works

  • Each metal tier is required to craft a pickaxe (using the Tetra mod) that can mine the next metal.
  • The progression follows this order: Void → Infernium → Abyssal → Ether.
  • This progression system adds an extra layer of exploration and challenge to your modpack gameplay.
