🎧 Muffle Mod

client-side mod that gives you full control over in-game sounds.

🚀 Features

Spy Mode
Log nearby sound events in real time to easily identify unwanted sounds.

Blacklist
Muted sounds are saved automatically and persist between game restarts.

Easy Management
Simple commands let you quickly add or remove sounds from your blacklist.

Tab Support
Use TAB completion to quickly select recently played or already muted sounds.

⌨️ Commands

All commands use the /muffle prefix.

Spy Mode

  • /muffle spy start – Enable sound logging
  • /muffle spy end – Disable sound logging

🔇 Sound Control

  • /muffle add <id> – Mute a sound
  • /muffle remove <id> – Unmute a sound
  • /muffle list – Show muted sounds
  • /muffle recent – Show recently played sounds

💡 How to Use

  1. Run /muffle spy start
  2. Trigger the annoying sound
  3. Copy its sound ID from chat (e.g. minecraft:entity.villager.ambient)
  4. Run /muffle add <id>

Done — the sound is now blocked.

⚙️ Technical Info

  • Client-side only – no server installation required
  • Works on any multiplayer server
  • Fully compatible with vanilla sound system
