Spiders Improve Over time

Spiders get stronger the longer you play. difficulty is calculated for each player separately. The improvements are gradual, taking place every 20 minutes.

Stat increase

Stats that change include:

• Health
• Movement speed
• Knockback resistance
• Damage
• Armor
• Follow range
• Potion effects (for example, fire res., regeneration, speed, etc.)
• Spiders now destroy crops

Timers

Timer for difficulty is per player, and increases every minecraft day (20 minutes). sleeping does NOT forward this timer. Max difficulty is day 100+ and difficulty does not increase after that.

Commands

To test out how hard the spiders are, use functions spid:day25, spid:day50, spid:day75, spid:day100 or use command: /scoreboard players set Spiddif . To reset your score use spid:reset, to reset all of players difficulty, use spid:resetall.

Installing

Like your ordinary datapack, put zip file in datapacks folder of your world.

Unistalling

Run function skel:uninstall and remove the datapack from datapacks folder

Other

I am planning on making a version of this datapack for each common mob, then making a datapack consisting of all of them (This is the fifth mob improvement datapack I made).

Farms

Because mobs only receive improvement when 32 blocks away or closer to a player, automatic mob farms will still work fine, and you dont need to adjust the falling height or killing chambers.
