Drop a beat and the whole world loses it! Note blocks and jukeboxes make every player, mob and villager spin like a top and puff up and shrink like a confused balloon, as if the world’s silliest disco just started.

Description
Spin Party 🌀
Drop a beat and the whole world loses it!
Spin Party turns every note into a party. As soon as a note block or a music disc plays nearby, every living creature you can see starts spinning like a top while puffing up and shrinking like a confused balloon. Players, mobs, villagers, the cat sleeping in the corner and even armor stands all join in. When the music ends, everyone smoothly spins back to where they started, as if nothing happened.
Features
- Spinning. Models rotate around the vertical axis at 30 to 1080 degrees per second, adjustable.
- Size pulsing. Models shrink and grow. Pulse speed and size range (0 to 80%) are adjustable separately.
- Note blocks. Every note triggers the effect, and it lasts a few seconds after the last one (0.5 to 10 s, adjustable).
- Jukebox. The effect lasts while a disc plays and fades out when it finishes or is ejected.
- Manual mode. A key (R by default) toggles the effect on and off even without any music.
- Indicator. A short
SPIN: ONorSPIN: OFFmessage fades in at the top of the screen and disappears again. You can turn it off. - Smooth finish. Models spin back to a zero angle and the pulsing fades out, with no sudden snapping.
Works on any server
The mod is client-side only: no server mod is needed, so it works on vanilla servers and servers with plugins. You see the effect on your own screen and it changes nothing for other players. Everyone who has Spin Party installed and stands near the same note block or jukebox sees the dance, because each client reacts to the music on its own.
Configuration
Everything is configured through Mod Menu (Mods → Spin Party): spin and pulse toggles, speeds, pulse size, note block and jukebox triggers, trigger range (4 to 64 blocks), duration after a note, the top indicator and the activation key. There is a Reset button. Settings are saved to config/spinparty.json. The key can also be changed under Controls → Spin Party.
Limitations
- Only living creatures spin and pulse (players, mobs, villagers, armor stands). Dropped items, boats and minecarts are not affected.
- The mod detects a jukebox only at the moment a disc starts playing. If you join a world while a disc is already playing, there is no effect until the next one starts.
