Description

"About SSL's npc maker mod"

SSL's npc maker Mod is simple mod that add NPC in your world.
there was no NPC mod that I wanted, so I create one.
As of now, we require and support 1.20.4 version of Neo Forge and Minecraft.
The support for fabric mode loader is not planned.(I'm so sorry...!)


"About NPC"

Saddly, this mod's NPC are not particularly smarter than other mod's one.
Since Their AI is same  AI of the villager.
you can't set their line, movement or trade list only with this mod.
BUT
they have player model and customable texture, same data with villager
which mean with vanilla commands you can make thing like 'example video' at below.

"How to use this mod"

"to make and set custom texture"

"For 1.19.4"

1. open jar file
2.  go "assets\ssls_npc_maker_mod\textures\entities" folder
3. put your custom texture at the folder.
4. Compress the mod file into a jar file again.
5. execute minecraft with mod file
6. go your world
7. name NPC to "your custom texture file name" with name tag
8. done!



"For 1.20.1"

1. open jar file
2.  go "assets\ssls_npc_maker_mod\textures\entities" folder
3. put your custom texture at the folder.
4. Compress the mod file into a jar file again.
5. execute minecraft with mod file
6. go your world
7. execute command at NPC "/snm set <entity> texture_name "your texture file name""
8. done!


"to use more then 2 texture at one NPC name"

"For 1.19.4"

1. name scend texture "your NPC name"_1
(you can name the file like "your NPC name"_2, "your NPC name"_3... if you have more textures)
2. add the "your NPC name"_1.png at "(jar mod file)\assets\ssls_npc_maker_mod\textures\entities" folder
3. Compress the mod file into a jar file again and go to your minecraft world with mod.
4. execute command at NPC "/snm set <entity> texture _type 1"
5. the texture will change to  "your NPC name"_1.png while remaining your NPC name

1. name scend texture "your texture file name"_1
(you can name the file like "your NPC name"_2, "your NPC name"_3... if you have more textures)
2. add the "your texture file name"_1.png at "(jar mod file)\assets\ssls_npc_maker_mod\textures\entities" folder
3. Compress the mod file into a jar file again and go to your minecraft world with mod.
4. execute command at the NPC "/snm set <entity> texture _type 1"
5. the texture will change to  "your texture file name"_1.png while remaining your NPC name


"about all mod commands"

/snm set <npcentity> name <string>
     ->this command will set NPC's name without name tag.

/snm set <npcentity> texture_name <string>
     ->this command will set NPC's texture name literally . if you want your own custom texture, please             check "to make and set custom texture" at above.

/snm set <npcentity> texture_type <int>
     ->this command will set NPC's texture type literally . if you want to use more than 2 texture at one              NPC, please check "to use more then 2 texture at one NPC name" at above.

/snm set <npcentity> move_type free
      ->this command will make NPC move freely.

/snm set <npcentity> move type stay
      ->this command will make NPC stay in one place.

/snm set <npcentity> move_type toword <x> <y> <z>
      ->this command will make NPC move toward <x> <y> <z>.

 /snm test <npcentity> texture_type
      ->check what texture type the NPC is use.

but I don't want anyone to redistribute my file.(Crying)
