Description

Stack Enchants - Datapack

Description

Stack Enchants is a Minecraft datapack that allows you to stack enchanted books of the same kind into a single book. This feature is especially useful for players who want to combine multiple books of the same enchantment, saving inventory space and making enchanting more efficient.

The datapack merges books with the same enchantments, so you don't have to worry about carrying multiple copies of the same book anymore. The books are merged seamlessly, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience.

Features

  • Stacking Enchanted Books: Combine identical enchanted books into a single book.
  • No More Inventory Clutter: Save space by stacking books of the same enchantment.
  • Automatic Book Merging: The datapack automatically detects and merges books when you have multiple copies of the same enchantment.

Installation

  1. Download the Stack Enchants datapack file.
  2. Navigate to the datapacks folder of your Minecraft world.
  3. Place the downloaded datapack in the datapacks folder.
  4. Open or reload the Minecraft world.
  5. Enjoy the feature of stacking enchanted books!

How It Works

  • The datapack will automatically merge enchanted books of the same kind in your inventory.
  • If you have two enchanted books with the same enchantment (e.g., Sharpness I), they will combine into one book with both enchantments stacked together.
  • To trigger the stacking process, the datapack will check your inventory periodically.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Version: 1.20 (or higher)
  • Datapack Compatibility: Any Minecraft Loader

Known Issues

  • The datapack only works with enchanted books that have the same enchantment. It does not merge books with different enchantments at this time.

Future Plans

  • Support for Combining Books with Different Enchantments: Merge books with different enchantments but prevent conflicting enchantments.
  • Advanced Book Merging Options: Add more control to merging, such as specifying a preferred enchantment level.
