Description

Tired of dozens of identical mobs cluttering your world? MobStacker merges them into single, beefy stacks — with extra twists you won't find anywhere else.

🐑 Stack ’Em All

Passive, hostile, and aquatic mobs that wander too close will automatically merge into one. The stack size appears right in the name (e.g. Zombie x12), and stacked mobs gain bonus max health — fully configurable. Baby mobs only merge with babies, sheep only merge with same-colored sheep, and player-named mobs are left alone.

🔒 Lock & Split

Right‑click any stackable mob with an Iron Nugget to lock it. Locked mobs ignore auto‑merging and won’t split accidentally. Want to unlock? Shift‑right‑click with an empty hand — you’ll get an Emerald back. Shift‑right‑click a stacked mob that isn’t locked to peel off half the stack into a new entity.

🍯 Honeycomb Pairing

For total control, use a Honeycomb on a mob. It’ll start searching for a partner of the exact same type. Use another honeycomb on a nearby matching mob, and they’ll rush together and merge into one giant stack in a burst of hearts. Works even on mobs that normally refuse to auto‑stack, like tamed wolves (same tame status required).

🐣 Stacked Breeding

Locked adult animals can be bred in a new way. Feed the first one its favourite food to put it “in the mood”, then feed a nearby locked partner. They’ll produce a single baby whose stack size equals half the sum of the parents — perfect for building up massive herds quickly. A breeding cooldown prevents spamming.

✂️ Smart Interactions

Shearing a stacked sheep drops extra wool proportional to the stack size.

Dyeing a stacked sheep consumes one dye and splits off a single dyed sheep of that colour, while the main stack shrinks by one.

Stacked chickens lay eggs much faster — one extra egg‑laying chance per extra chicken in the stack.

📦 Item Stacking

Dropped items of the same type and NBT automatically merge on the ground, displaying a combined count (e.g. Cobblestone x128). Radius and toggle are configurable.

⚙️ Highly Configurable

Fine‑tune everything in the config:

The config file lets you adjust:

enableMobStacking – Master toggle to turn the entire mob stacking feature on or off.

enableItemStacking – Turns ground item merging on or off (handy for avoiding duplication issues with tech mods like Create).

mob_radius – How close mobs must be before they automatically merge (range 1–20 blocks).

item_radius – How close dropped items must be to stack together (range 0.5–10 blocks).

show_mob_count – Whether the stack size is displayed in the mob’s name (e.g. Zombie x12).

min_stack_threshold – How many mobs need to gather before the mod starts merging them (minimum 2, up to 64).

hp_bonus_per_stack – Bonus max health added per extra mob in a stack (0 to 100, in half‑hearts).

enableMonsterMerging – Specifically allows/disallows hostile mobs from merging automatically, while passive mobs can still be controlled independently.

Clean up your entity count, give your farms a huge performance boost, and enjoy a fresh take on mob stacking — all without commands or complex setups.
