Description

What it does

  • Empty shulker boxes stack up to 64 in your inventory, chests, and ender chests. Works on all 16 colors and the regular uncolored shulker box.
  • Breaking placed boxes: Mining any shulker box in the world drops a stackable item while keeping whatever was inside.
  • Won't mess up your items: Boxes with different contents will never stack together. They only stack if they're completely identical (like empty ones), so there's zero risk of losing items. How it works
  • Items taken directly from the creative tab won't stack. They need to be crafted or placed and mined first to receive the stackable component.

This pack doesn't use any tick loops, scoreboards, or commands in the background. It simply modifies the vanilla block loot tables and recipes using the native max_stack_size: 64 data component introduced in modern Minecraft versions. Zero performance impact.

Installation

  • Put the datapack zip into your world's datapacks folder.
  • Run /reload (or rejoin the world).

Works completely server-side and players joining your server don't need to install anything.
