Description
Stainer's Fishing Net
This mod introduces a functional passive fishing and logistics system through specialized blocks. It is designed to automate resource gathering and item transport in a vanilla-friendly way.
Features:
1. The Fishing Net
-
Placement Mechanics: The net must be placed in a water source (Waterlogged) to activate.
-
Dynamic Timer: Once submerged, the net triggers a capture cycle ranging from 120 to 180 seconds.
-
Efficiency Bonuses: Proximity to open water and depth significantly reduce wait times:
-
Open Water: Each adjacent water block (up to 5) reduces the timer by 15 seconds.
-
Depth Bonus: Placing the net above a 3-block deep water column grants an additional 20-second reduction.
-
-
Natural Integration: Sea grass and Kelp do not block the net or interfere with efficiency calculations.
2. The Item Collector
-
Smart Buffer: This block acts as a high-speed vertical item transport.
-
One-Stack Buffer: It can only hold one stack at a time. It will not pump more items from below if its internal slot is already occupied.
-
Vertical Transfer: * It automatically pulls items from the container located directly below it.
-
It pushes items into the container located directly above it if there is available space (empty slot or matching stack).
-

Loot Table & Probabilities:
Every time a fishing cycle completes, the net has a chance to catch one of the following items (Total weight: 79):
