A simple steel mod for Forge 1.18.2 that adds: a steel ingot, block, and nugget, steel tools, and a new machine: the Alloy Blaster!
Steel tools are better than iron but inferior to diamond.
The Alloy Blaster allows you to forge steel (and any other alloy using datapacks), just insert the ingredients according to the recipes on the Github wiki.
JEI support is included for all recipes.
