Description

Starfall Plague

Something fell from the sky… and the world began to change.

Starfall Plague is not just a boss or a new biome. It is an infection that lands in your world and slowly takes it over.

A few minutes into a new world, the first meteor crashes down. Purple rot creeps from the crater. Animals sicken. The dead rise. Forests, caves, and oceans begin to turn, one block at a time. The infection spreads whether you are watching or not.

And the longer you wait, the worse it becomes.

Core Features

Meteors From the Sky
The first meteor falls around five minutes into a new world. More continue to crash every 10 to 30 minutes, always far from the player. Every crater contains meteor ore, and some hold a glowing core that keeps spreading the infection until destroyed.

An Infection That Spreads
Corruption moves across the land, into caves, through trees, and into water. It does not stop when you leave. Hundreds of blocks have corrupted forms, and the world slowly transforms whether you are nearby or not.

Five Phases of Decay
The world advances through five phases, each more dangerous than the last. Infected grow stronger, new horrors appear, and the pressure steadily rises.

Everything Can Fall
Nearly every mob in the game can become infected. They mutate over time, developing extra limbs, exposed bone, fungal growths, or rare Alpha forms. The infected share a hive mind — when one sees you, others come.
