Description

A modern rewrite of the SteelSeries GameSense integration for Minecraft 1.21.11+ on Fabric.

This mod connects Minecraft to the SteelSeries GG Engine, allowing your keyboard and other supported devices to react in real-time to in-game events.

Features:

  • Full support for SteelSeries GG configuration (zones, colors, effects)
  • Tool durability and material display
  • Current held tool detection (fixed and working)
  • Instant updates - no delay

Important Notes:

  • This version is a complete rewrite from scratch using modern Minecraft mappings
  • No code from previous Fabric/Forge implementations is used in this version
  • SteelSeries GG controls all lighting behavior; this mod only sends game data

Tool Display Limitations:

SteelSeries GG only supports a predefined list of tools.

Newer items (such as mace, trident, etc.) may not display unless supported by SteelSeries.

What’s Improved:

  • Fixed long-standing issue where tool display only updated after alt-tab or reload
  • Fixed keyboard not refreshing correctly when re-entering the game
  • Reduced unnecessary event spam (efficient update system)

Requirements:

Installation:

  1. Install Fabric Loader + Fabric API
  2. Download the mod .jar
  3. Place it in your .minecraft/mods folder
  4. Launch the game
  5. Enable the GameSense Minecraft app inside SteelSeries GG
