StopMakeMeCry is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge).
The goal of the mod is to make the game feel disturbing, unpredictable, and unsettling without changing the core gameplay too much.

Instead of adding many monsters, the mod focuses on atmosphere, tension, and strange unexplained events that may happen while you play.

Sometimes the world may behave normally.
Sometimes it will not.

Main Features

Cracking Moon

During the night you may notice something strange in the sky.

The moon can begin to crack slowly, as if something is breaking inside it.
This event may be accompanied by strange sounds and an unsettling atmosphere.

You may not notice it immediately.
But once you see it, it becomes difficult to ignore.

Shadow Entity

A mysterious creature known as The Shadow may appear in your world.

The Shadow does not behave like normal mobs.

Possible behaviors:

• silently watching the player
• appearing at a distance
• disappearing when approached
• standing in places where it should not be

Sometimes you will only see it for a moment.

Sometimes it may be standing behind you.

Jumpscares

The mod includes two random jumpscares.

They are not predictable and can occur during normal gameplay.
The goal is to surprise the player and create sudden moments of fear.

These events are rare but effective.

Horror Sounds

The mod adds several atmospheric sounds to the world:

• distant noises
• strange whispers
• unexplained ambient sounds
• unsettling audio events

Sometimes you may hear something nearby even when nothing is there.
