About

Description

Stratum adds modifiers to all crafted weapons. These modifiers are called stratums.

Stratums aren't completely random and whether you recieve a good stratum or a bad stratum will be largely affected by your level.

Stratums:

Every weapon you craft will have a stratum applied to it.

At level 20, your chances of getting a good or bad stratum are equal. Level 40 will give you the highest chance of getting a good stratum, higher levels will not increase your chances further.

The attributes that can be affected by stratums are:

- Attack Damage

- Attack Speed

- Attack Range

- Movement Speed

- Swim Speed

- Luck

Forging Station:

You can add stratums and reroll stratums using the Forging Station.

Stratums gained through the forging station will also take into account your level.

Your weapon can have a maximum of two stratums, unless it also has the "Ordinary" stratum, in which case you can add a third.

To reroll a stratum, it will cost 1 diamond. Rerolling a weapon with 2 stratums will reroll both stratums.

To add a stratum to a weapon, it will cost 1 netherite ingot (unless your weapon doesn't have a stratum, in which case you can just reroll it)

You can spawn in weapons with more stratums using commands, simply add the tag to the item. e.g "minecraft:diamond_sword{Demonic:1,Lucky:1,Fast:1}"

This mod works with all modded melee weapons (as long as the weapons have been tagged properly)

I have no plans to add support for armor. I have another unreleased mod that im currently working on that focuses on armor.

I do have plans to add more attributes such as Exp Gain and Lifesteal, as well as more Stratums that use these attributes.
