SummonMounts

A Fabric mod that lets players tame horse type mobs and summon/recall them at will using tiered Ocarina items. When a horse is tamed, it's stored as NBT data inside the Ocarina and can be materialized or dismissed on item use.

• 5 tiers of Ocarinas and Feed items (Inferior → Superior) tied to different horse types (donkey, mule, horse, and configurable)
• Summon/Recall mechanic: mount only exists in the world while active, with custom particle effects on both ends
• Durability system: Ocarinas have 32 durability; Feed items restore it, and you can't ride a mount with a depleted Ocarina
• Auto-recall triggers: idle timeout (30s), max lifetime (5min), airborne timeout (2min), death, disconnect, and dimension change
• Anti-exploit mixins: prevents dropping or moving the Ocarina while a mount is active
• Configurable: allowed dimensions, cooldowns, mount-to-tier mappings, and repair values via JSON config
• Safe spawn positioning: smart algorithm checks 5 directions at multiple Y-levels for clear placement
• CombatLog integration: disables summoning during PvP combat (optional)
• Bundled alternative resource pack for 2D Ocarina models
