Wither Storm Elixir Command Block Override

Overview

This datapack is designed to make Command Block Crafting mods compatible with Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir.

The reason I created this datapack is simple: in vanilla Minecraft, Command Blocks cannot be placed in Survival Mode. Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir adds a Command Block that can be placed and used in Survival Mode, making it a much better option for survival worlds and modpacks where players need access to command-block-based features.

This datapack changes the crafting results of supported Command Block crafting mods so that, instead of crafting the normal vanilla Command Block, their recipes craft the Command Block from Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir.

This allows you to keep using your preferred Command Block crafting mod while taking advantage of the Survival Mode functionality provided by Wither Storm Elixir.

Supported Mods

This datapack currently supports the following Command Block crafting mods:

• Command Block Crafting
• Falcon's Wither Storm Adventure
• Ender's Craftable Command Block
• Losti236's Craftable Commandblock
• Morecrafts — includes all supported Command Block recipes
• Wither Storm Tweaks
• BWSB

If one of these mods is installed, its supported Command Block crafting recipe will produce the Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir Command Block instead of the vanilla Command Block.

⚠️ Important Requirement

You must have Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir installed for this datapack to work correctly.

This datapack does not add the Command Block itself. It simply changes the crafting recipes to use the Command Block provided by Wither Storm Elixir.

🏚️ Not Making a Wither Storm Modpack?

Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir may add the Rundown House to your world, which may not fit the theme of your modpack or survival world.

If your modpack or world isn't about the Wither Storm, you can use the No Rundown House Datapack to disable the Rundown House.

With the No Rundown House datapack installed, the Rundown House will be disabled, allowing you to use the Survival-compatible Command Block from Wither Storm Elixir without having the Rundown House appear in your world.

This makes it possible to use the Command Block functionality as if Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir were not adding the Rundown House, while still retaining the Command Block that can be placed in Survival Mode.

Why This Exists

The goal of this datapack is to solve a small but annoying compatibility problem.

Vanilla Minecraft's Command Block is intentionally restricted from being placed in Survival Mode. However, Cracker's Wither Storm Elixir provides a Command Block that can be placed and used in Survival Mode.

This datapack combines that functionality with existing Command Block crafting mods, giving players a convenient way to obtain the Survival-compatible Command Block without having to manually obtain the vanilla Command Block.
