Savaru's Starter Kits
Summary
Let players choose their starting gear, health, and attribute bonuses through a visual kit selection screen and an in-game editor.
Description
Choose your start. Shape your adventure.
Savaru's Starter Kits lets players pick a starting loadout when they first enter a world. Give each path its own equipment, supplies, maximum health, and attribute bonuses—whether you are building a survival server or an RPG modpack.
Pick a starting path
- Browse kit cards and preview their contents before confirming.
- Give each kit a custom name, description, and colour.
- Set starting maximum health and flat or percentage-based attribute bonuses.
- Each player chooses once unless an operator resets their choice or they use a Kit Reselect Ticket.
Create kits in-game
Operators can open the built-in editor with the rebindable backslash key. Create and edit kits, search available attributes, and use Use my items to capture the gear you are currently wearing and carrying.
Captured loadouts include armour, offhand, hotbar, and inventory items, with support for Grid Inventory's extra rows and Accessories/Trinkets slots when those mods are present.
Change your path
The Kit Reselect Ticket lets a player choose again. Previous kit items stay with the player, while the old kit's health and attribute bonuses are removed and replaced by the new choice. Tickets have no crafting recipe; distribute them through commands, quests, shops, or loot.
Operators can also use /svrkit to capture, list, reload, delete, or reset kits. Kit definitions are stored in editable JSON and SNBT files.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric, and Fabric API.
- Install on both the client and server for multiplayer.
- Grid Inventory, Accessories, and Trinkets integrations are optional.
