Make sure to check out T_en_M on youtube for inspiring this mod
This mod adds an assortment of music discs from T_en_M's channel. Here is a sneak peak at the names and where you will find then in your world.
- No Escape
- Frosted
- Tundra
- Cascade
- Thunder Storm
- Shulker
- Stride
All of the discs will be in the stronghold's corridor chest. After thorough consideration I desided this chest would cause the least issues for mass modding. Each chest will have at least 1 music disc with an average of 5.
The chest will still have the same stuff in the loot pool based on the minecraft wiki except I removed some of the trash (Iron sword, Iron pickaxe, Iron helmet, Iron chestplate, iron leggings, iron boots, gold horse armor, iron horse armor, diamond horse armor) and made golden apples 33% instead of regular ones. This will hopefully make the stronghold prepare you for the Ender dragon fight a little more.
Let me know if you want me to add more of T_en_M's music! I might rerelease this one, but with actual variety in the where to find it, but it is really annoying that you can't add an item without it overiding the loot pool.
IMPORTANT: If you dont know how the loot tables in minecraft work, you need to know that when a mod changes the vanilla loot table in any way, even if you only want to add a modded item to the vanilla loot pool, it will override other mods that do the same. Which does not effect enchanted books thankfully. That said, you can have 2 or more mods that add/change the same loot pool installed without breaking your game, the game will just choose the loot pool from whichever mod loaded last.
That means you might not get the discs from my mod if you have another mod that changes the stronghold loot table. I picked the stronghold loot table because no mod that i know of changes that loot table. Plus I think this gives a nice extra reward when you get to the stronghold. Keep a look out when building your modpack <3
This was a learning process for me. You don't need to but I appreciate any donations.
