About

Description

T-Explosions is a modification aimed at overhauling the standard explosion mechanics in Minecraft. The project updates the visual aspect of destructions and introduces basic physical interaction with the environment.

Main Features

  • Updated visual effects: Standard explosion animations have been completely replaced. New particles and visual effects have been added, making the detonation process look more realistic.
  • Shockwave mechanic: A physical shockwave now emanates from the epicenter of the explosion. At the current stage of development, this mechanic operates in a basic mode: the wave only affects fragile materials, specifically destroying glass blocks within the blast radius.

Technical Information & Disclaimer

This mod is one of the first projects created by a beginner Java developer. When adding this modification to your modpack, please consider the following technical nuances:

  1. Optimization issues: The code architecture is currently not optimized for large-scale calculations. Simultaneously detonating a large amount of explosives will cause a significant drop in framerate (FPS), high CPU load, and may lead to game freezes. It is highly recommended to avoid massive explosions.
  2. Potential bugs: The mod is in the active stages of development. During gameplay, you may encounter unforeseen bugs, incorrect particle rendering, or compatibility conflicts with other modifications.

Feedback

The project will be continuously improved as I gain more development experience. Constructive criticism, bug reports, and technical feedback are highly welcome — they will help fix errors, improve code optimization, and expand functionality in future updates.
