TACZ: Better Streamline Bullet

Give your ammunition factory a reason to exist.

TACZ: Better Streamline Bullet connects ammunition quality to Create automation. Handcrafted ammunition remains available at TaCZ workbenches, while automated production unlocks stronger Improved and Precise variants.

Features

Three ammunition tiers

Direct-hit and explosion damage multipliers are independently configurable. Existing damage falloff, blast radius, and knockback rules are preserved.

Expanded Create production

Build complete Precise ammunition production chains for all 24 default TaCZ ammunition types, including shotgun shells, RPG rockets, and 40mm grenades.

Manufacture high-energy powder, explosives, prepared casings, and Precise rocket and grenade components. Harden projectiles through a single sequenced assembly:

Lava filling → Pressing → Water filling

The addon includes 64 recipes and 38 completed materials and components. Unfinished assembly items remain hidden from creative inventory and JEI searches.

Mixed ammunition, tracked round by round

Load Ordinary, Improved, and Precise ammunition into the same gun. The mod tracks ammunition quality and order in the magazine and chamber, including rounds being loaded.

• The lower-right HUD displays the next round’s tier.
• Reloading and unloading preserve ammunition quality.
• Use /tacz_bsb unload while holding a gun to empty both its magazine and chamber.

Familiar visuals

Enhanced ammunition reuses the original TaCZ models and textures with Minecraft’s enchantment glint.

• Improved: orange names.
• Precise: purple names.
• Enhanced ammunition appears in TaCZ’s ammunition creative tab.
• New production materials appear in the Create: TaCZ creative tab.
• Ammo-box tooltips display the stored ammunition’s corresponding name and icon.

Creative ammunition boxes

Improved and Precise universal creative ammo boxes provide unlimited ammunition for the current gun’s caliber. Rounds supplied by each box retain its designated quality.

Gun-pack support

Ammunition matching uses TaCZ’s AmmoId, rather than a fixed list of supported guns. Guns from standard TaCZ gun packs can use the corresponding enhanced ammunition variants.

For packs that introduce new ammunition, configuration controls variant availability and per-caliber damage multipliers. Custom production recipes can be added through datapacks or KubeJS.

Additional gun-pack recipes are not included. Packs that bypass TaCZ’s standard loading or shooting interfaces may require separate integration.
