TailMod — Tailscale for Minecraft

Play with friends on your private Tailnet without port forwarding. Embeds a full Tailscale node into the Minecraft client — no daemon, no router config.

Features

  • One-click connect — see all Tailnet peers, click to join
  • LAN world sharing — friends who open to LAN appear automatically
  • Auto-reconnect — silently reconnects on restart
  • Browser auth — log in via browser, no auth key required
  • SLP ping — server version and player count for each peer
  • Favorites — star ★ any peer to pin them to the top
  • Voice chat proxy — Simple Voice Chat (24454) and webcam (25454)
  • Cross-platform — Linux x64, Windows x64, macOS x64 and Apple Silicon

Playing with friends

Both players need to be on the same Tailnet. Invite via Tailscale Admin.

Network disclosure

Connects to Tailscale infrastructure for a private WireGuard network. See tailscale.com/privacy. No data sent to mod authors.
