Description

Golem Gladiators

Turn player-built Iron Golems into persistent companion guardians.

Give an eligible Iron Golem any Minecraft flower to bond with it. Your bonded golem can follow you, guard a position, or patrol a local area. Equip it through its dedicated equipment screen with vanilla armor and powerful visible gauntlets.

## Features

- Bond player-created Iron Golems with any flower in `#minecraft:flowers`.
- Owner-only commands: **Follow**, **Stay**, and **Wander**.
- Owner-only equipment screen with helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, and gauntlet slots.
- Iron Golem Gauntlets: 2× melee damage.
- Diamond Golem Gauntlets: 3× melee damage.
- Persistent owner, command, anchor, and equipment data.
- Equipment drops on death by default.
- Multiplayer-safe ownership checks and synchronization.
- Visible 3D gauntlets that move with the Iron Golem's real arms.
- JEI displays the gauntlet recipes when JEI is installed.

## Controls

| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Bond a golem | Right-click an eligible Iron Golem with any flower |
| Change command | Sneak + right-click your bonded golem with a stick |
| Open equipment | Right-click your bonded golem with an empty hand |

Commands cycle: Follow → Stay → Wander.

## Recipes

Iron Golem Gauntlets use iron ingots and an iron block. Diamond Golem Gauntlets upgrade Iron Golem Gauntlets with diamonds. Both recipes are available in JEI.

## Compatibility

Minecraft **1.20.1**, Forge **47.4.10** and Java **17** are required. Install the mod on both client and dedicated server. JEI is optional.

## Configuration

The Forge common config controls taming, natural-golem eligibility, follow and teleport distances, wander radius, defensive radius, gauntlet damage multipliers, and equipment drops.
