Description
TavernTales-4ging
A data-driven Equipment Forge for crafting gear, plus a fully customizable Loot Bag system. Built for NeoForge 1.21.1.
⚒️ Equipment Forge
A crafting station built around "pick a recipe, then craft it" — no more fiddly grid placement for gear.
- Materials straight from your inventory — no crafting grid; ingredients are pulled from your main inventory + offhand.
- List-style UI — category tabs, a search box, and an item grid on the left; the selected recipe's materials and a craft button on the right. Craftable items are bright, unaffordable ones are dimmed, just like the vanilla recipe book.
- Data-driven categories & recipes — every tab and recipe is defined by data packs, so modpacks can add, remove, or rebalance freely.
- Optionally replaces vanilla recipes — gear superseded by the forge can be removed from the vanilla crafting table via one config switch (on by default).
🎁 Loot Bag
A right-click-to-open bag whose contents are defined entirely by data-pack loot tables — give every boss its own drop bag.
- One bag, one table — the bag's kind lives in an item component and maps to a loot table of the same name.
- Protected on the ground — immune to fire, lava, and explosions, never despawns, and glows through walls, so it's safe to drop on the battlefield.
- Retexture per kind — drop one model file into a resource pack; zero code.
- See drops in JEI — with JustEnoughResources installed, each bag's possible drops and odds show up in JEI.
