Description
(PSA: Development has slowed due to the ice storms that affected the midwest. Thank you for your patience!)
Ever wanted to use the old cobblestone texture in your builds? Ever wanted to feel the crushing disappointment of a non-functioning nether reactor core?
Now you can!
Introducing the Taste of Legacy mod, by me, Jericho! This mod aims to add just a little bit of content to scratch that nostalgic itch. I am constantly trying to improve the mod, as I have no prior experience, so this is a very good way for me to learn. I built the recipes in a way that made sense to me, but also tried to keep things as true as I could. For instance; Legacy Logs drop 3-5 wooden planks, as they did originally. Don't worry though, as using Silk Touch will allow you to pick up these logs (As well as Legacy Stone and Leaves) should that be your desire.
So far, The content is somewhat limited, but is all survival friendly! I highly recommend the use of JEI (Or equivalent) for recipe browsing, as me simply telling all the recipes seems not as fun. On top of the blocks added, there is (so far) one new mob (Has the same spawning conditions as Zombies and Skeletons, but are not immediately aggressive (As to not be too intrusive.) This new mob drops a new item, used in a few crafting recipes.
Thank you for reading, and any feedback is *greatly* appreciated, and thank you for your consideration!
Now get out there and place some blocks!
