Description

Tax' Cryptex Reader is a official port of the amazing Guide Book mod by Creysys and Torojima. I am honored to have the permission to port the mod. Its compiled with new forge 14.23.5.2855 and have additional features. Its designed to use with my modpack, but feel free to use it. Need to be installed on client and server. No JEI and Thaumcraft integration.

If you want use in your modpack, link this port and the original mod.

Cryptex Reader allows you to check recipes and usage of items and blocks.

Craft the Cryptex.

Rightclick on Cryptex open the recipe GUI.        Write the name of the block or item..

Check crafting recipe                                       or the smelting recipe.

New features

Removed default recipe book

Make the recipe book great again.

If Cryptex is in the inventory the default recipe book button is replaced with the Cryptex.

By clicking the Cryptex, the Cryptex GUI appears beside and searching while crafting is possible. There is a new recipe book feature inspired by ARB. Check it out.

Incompatiblity

  • InventoryTweaks is crshing the game by pressing E. If there is a solution let me know.

Rarmor is corrupting the gameplay feature. The Cryptex is accessable without the item

Issue

  • There is a server issue at the moment. (WIP)
