TCG Packs
Open packs. Chase the hits. Run the card shop.
A trading card shop simulator for Minecraft. Rip open booster packs, build master sets, grade your best pulls - and open your own store, where customers walk in, browse your shelves and pay at the register.
Cards and packs
239 card sets from 1865 to 2026 with about 27,000 cards: a fictional creature card game across all its eras, a fictional duel card game, a fictional arcane card game, antique cards from 1865 to 1916, sports cards (baseball, football, basketball) and a racing set. Every card has its own art, rarity and print runs - 1st Edition, Unlimited, reverse holo, refractors, secret rares.
Opening a pack is a small show: the foil tears, every card flips over, and a big hit gets a heartbeat, a flash and a fanfare. Pull rates follow each set, and the rare always comes last.
Prices that move with time
Every card, pack, display and sealed product has a price history. The world calendar decides what something is worth today: a set is cheap on release day, disappears from the wholesaler when it goes out of print, and turns into a collector's item years later. Nothing exists before its release date.
Your card store
- Stock up at the distributors, one per card game and one for sports cards - only what is still in print, and every print has a fixed total per world.
- Build the store: booster shelves, sealed-goods shelves, peg walls, gondolas and tables in three styles, showcases for single cards, open displays on the counter, a register and a bus stop for customers.
- Set your prices at the store manager terminal - mark up too much and customers complain.
- Customers with real budgets: pocket-money kids, regulars and rich collectors who buy half the shop.
- Sellers walk in with bulk boxes, whole collections, attic finds or graded cards - and you haggle.
- Hire staff: a cashier for the register and a clerk who keeps prices and restocks your shelves.
- Store rating: earn up to five stars for more and richer customers.
Collecting and grading
Scan a card for its condition, send it in for grading and get it back in a slab with sub-grades. Graded cards have their own prices, and slabs can be put on display. Store your collection in a card box that holds 100,000 cards with search and filters, fill master and grandmaster binders, and keep sealed stock in a storage cabinet.
Auction house
Every month the auction terminal shows a new catalogue of lots - sealed boxes of old sets, graded cards and rare pieces. Now and then a customer tells you where a private seller with a grail card is waiting.
Village card shops
Some villages have a small card shop with a shopkeeper. There you are the customer - buy packs, or sell him your spare cards.
Requirements
- Money - accounts, cash and payments
- Tycoon Calendar - the shared world date that sets every price
- Tycoon Citizens - the customers, sellers and staff
Optional: Jade (what is inside displays and shelves), Street Trade (weigh a sealed pack on the pocket scale).
Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge. Works in singleplayer and on servers.
This is a beta. The mod is large and still growing - expect rough edges, and please report what you find.
