Description

Team ProjectE (Save Preservation Fix) is a GPLv3 fork of the excellent TeamProjectE by 6LeoY, which lets your team share ProjectE EMC and knowledge.

Why this fork?

The original mod has a catch: enabling it on a world where you already played with ProjectE wipes every player's EMC and knowledge on first login. This fork fixes that.

What was changed (2026-09-03, by Lin1848624)

  • One-time legacy import — When a team is created for a player, their pre-existing ProjectE EMC / knowledge / full-knowledge is imported from playerdata/<uuid>.dat before anything can overwrite it. Enabling the mod on an existing save no longer clears anything.
  • Uninstall insurance — Player data is mirrored back into ProjectE's own per-player save data, so removing this mod (or downgrading to plain ProjectE) does not destroy stored progress.
  • Recovery command — New operator command /team_projecte legacy_import <player> re-imports a player's still-intact legacy data when their team is empty.

Notes

  • Requires ProjectE and Minecraft 1.20.1 + Forge [47,).
  • Drop-in replacement: remove the original TeamProjectE jar before installing this one (same mod id teamprojecte), never run both together.
  • On sharing teams, each member mirrors the shared pool into their own data, matching in-game behaviour while the mod is installed.
