Description

TPA Datapack

A simple and lightweight Teleport Request (TPA) system for Minecraft, powered by datapacks and scoreboards.

Features

  • Request to teleport to another player using /trigger
  • Target player receives a clickable message to accept the request
  • Once accepted, the requester is instantly teleported to the target's location
  • No commands registration required — uses vanilla /trigger mechanics

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition
  • Scoreboard ID Mod (Required Dependency)
This datapack relies on the scoreboard id feature provided by a mod or data-driven system that assigns unique IDs via scoreboard objectives.
Must be installed and enabled before loading this datapack.

How to Use

  1. Send a TPA Request
Run the following command in chat: /trigger teleport.tpa set <player_id> Replace <player_id> with the target player's scoreboard ID.

  2. Receive the Request
The target player will receive a chat message with a clickable [Accept] button.

  3. Accept the Request
    The target player clicks [Accept].
→ The requester is immediately teleported to their location.

Notes

  • Only one active request per player at a time.
  • Requests automatically expire after a short duration if not accepted.
  • This datapack does not modify core gameplay mechanics beyond teleportation.
  • Compatible with multiplayer servers.

Installation

  1. Download and place the datapack into your world's datapacks folder.
  2. Restart the server or run /reload.
  3. Ensure the Scoreboard ID dependency is properly configured.

Uninstallation

  1. Delete the datapack from the datapacks folder.
  2. Run /reload.
  3. Optionally remove related scoreboard objectives if no longer needed.

Simple. Fast. Vanilla-friendly.
